Priority 2 of the programme concerns
entrepreneurship
and pacts for employment. The
aim is to reduce the causes of socio-economic
problems in the city, through the set-up
of a widespread and diversified network
of businesses. Local enterprises will
act in harmony with one another, and
in collaboration with the authorities
set up by the programme. This will encourage
new businesses to move to the area,
and offer support to existing small
and medium-sized enterprises, concentrating
specifically on those operating in the
social services sector, in sectors with
high growth potential and with a large-scale
use of innovative technologies.
